We move into the analysis phase of our study of The Book Thief.
You can usually expect a videoconference online at the time we would usually have English each period (You’ll see Thursday is an independent day for you this week) – and all the relevant information and materials you’ll need will be posted here on the class blog (as always!). Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or are having challenges getting to class.

This Week’s Timetable

Monday 11 May, Period 3

Tuesday 12 May, Period 4

Online Conference. Themes – Each group will share their findings from yesterday in relation to the genre of Magical Realism and then as a class we will define some statements that clearly state the key themes of the text.

Thursday 14 May, Period 1

Independent Planning. First of two preparation periods – plan your response to the Genre Investigation task and, where desired, conference individually with me to clarify and confirm your plans.

Friday 15 May, Period 2

Independent Planning. Second of two preparation periods – plan your response to the Genre Investigation task and, where desired, conference individually with me to clarify and confirm your plans.
